Books

Create a book with a title, description, and optional word goal. Each book gets a cover color for easy identification.

Chapters

Organize your book into chapters. Each chapter has:

• Title — chapter name
• Status — Draft, Review, Final
• Word count — automatically tracked
• Summary — chapter synopsis

Drag chapters to reorder them.

Scenes

Scenes are the actual writing units. Each scene:

• Belongs to a chapter
• Has a title and full text content
• Can be in Draft, Review, or Final status
• Has a POV character and location field
• Can link to notes and entities

Fullscreen Mode

Click a scene to open it in fullscreen writing mode. Navigate between scenes with the sidebar or arrows.

Export

Export your book to Markdown format from the book detail page.

Word Tracking

Word counts are tracked automatically for each scene. The book progress bar shows completion toward your word goal.
