Pallada's editor is the core of your writing workflow.

Markdown Editor

The editor supports full Markdown formatting:

• Bold, italic, code, strikethrough
• Headings H1–H3
• Bullet and ordered lists
• Blockquotes
• Code blocks
• Horizontal rules
• Wiki-style [[cross links]] to other notes

Toolbar

Use the toolbar above the editor for quick formatting. Keyboard shortcuts also work:

• Ctrl+B — Bold
• Ctrl+I — Italic
• Ctrl+Z — Undo
• Ctrl+Y — Redo

Folders

Organize notes into folders in the sidebar. Create, rename, or delete folders. Notes can be moved between folders.

Tags

Add tags to notes for easy searching. Tags appear as chips above the editor. The global search finds notes by tags.

Typography

Customize font family, size, and line height in Settings → Editor. Distraction-free mode hides UI chrome while writing.

Cross-Linking

Mention other notes with [[brackets]] — they become clickable links. The backlinks panel shows which notes reference the current one.
