Synchronization

Keep your data in sync across all your devices.

How Sync Works

  1. Push — your local changes are sent to the Pallada server
  2. Pull — server changes (from other devices or MCP) are downloaded

Sync is automatic — Pallada pushes changes as you type and pulls server updates at configurable intervals.

Sync Interval

Configure how often Pallada checks for changes in Settings → Sync:

  • 30 seconds (default)
  • 1, 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes

Longer intervals reduce server load.

Manual Sync

Click the sync button (circular arrows in the top bar) to manually push and pull. The green dot confirms data is synced.

What Syncs

  • Notes, entities, timeline events
  • Books, chapters, scenes
  • Calendar events
  • World map markers and regions
  • Character goals and relationships
  • Custom entity types

What Doesn't Sync

  • UI state (current tab, sidebar state, active note)
  • Search queries
  • Version history snapshots (local only)
